    Grupo Víssimo faced strong dependency on manual entries across its operational systems, with poor information tracking. This limitation led to frequent errors, rework, and low reliability for internal and external audits, while also impacting response speed across business areas.

    We included automation of purchase orders, ensuring greater agility and efficiency in the process; we implemented the issuing of alerts for unavailability, allowing for proactive management and the reduction of stockouts. We also offer enhanced inventory control, providing greater precision and optimization of resources.

    We implemented a robust automation system for purchase orders, which not only drastically accelerated the procurement process but also raised operational efficiency to new levels. This automation minimizes the need for manual intervention, reducing errors and ensuring that the necessary materials and products are requested at the exact moment, optimizing cash flow and supplier management. The infrastructure supporting this system is scalable and resilient, using Amazon EC2 for application processing and Amazon S3 for the secure and durable storage of historical order data.

    In addition, we integrated an intelligent mechanism for issuing unavailability alerts. This system continuously monitors stock levels and forecast demand, triggering proactive notifications to managers whenever a stockout risk is detected. Proactive management is crucial, as it allows the team to take immediate corrective action — whether by accelerating a pending purchase order, seeking alternative suppliers, or adjusting production scheduling — which, in turn, significantly reduces the occurrence of stockouts and the negative impact on sales and customer satisfaction. We use Amazon CloudWatch to monitor the performance of the alert system and ensure fast and reliable delivery of notifications.

    Additionally, our system offers optimized and notably more precise inventory control. We use advanced technologies such as automated cyclical inventory and real-time tracking to maintain the accuracy of inventory data. This enhanced precision is fundamental to avoiding excesses or shortages, ensuring more efficient use of the company's financial, logistical, and storage resources. For the analysis of large volumes of inventory and demand data, we use Amazon Redshift, which allows us to generate actionable insights quickly, resulting in a leaner, more responsive supply chain aligned with the real needs of the business.
