Smart Fit faced a significant challenge in accurately monitoring the number of students attending its classes. Manual counting not only consumed employees' time, but also generated inaccuracies that directly affected management and resource allocation. This limitation made it difficult to efficiently plan schedules and compromised the quality of the customer experience. A solution was needed that allowed automatic and accurate monitoring of class occupancy, optimizing class distribution and student experience.
Solução
In partnership with MadeinWeb and AWS, Smart Fit implemented an innovative computer vision solution using Amazon Rekognition. The system automatically counts students through cameras installed in classrooms, processing and storing data in a secure and scalable way.
The solution architecture combines:
Amazon Rekognition: AI for image analysis and automated student counting.
Amazon S3: Secure video storage and integration with SmartFit systems.
AWS Fargate: For running processing containers.
Machine Learning: Learning algorithms for training personalization and optimization classes.
Big Data Analytics: Data analysis to identify patterns and improve student retention.
Process Automation: Reduced need for manual counting and dynamic adjustment of operational capacity.
